Today is Blu’s “birthday”. We adopted her one year ago and she is approximately 5 years old. She spent the day licking the gravy out of a yummy beef dinner, napping, and being chased all over the house by her younger brother.
I love 3 day weekends! It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside just from knowing that I don’t have to get up early in the morning.
We started the weekend by repainting the side door, which turned into a much bigger job than expected. Taking it down was easy, but rehanging it was a nightmare. I failed to mark the locations of the hinges when I removed then, so it took a while to figure out where they went in order to get the door to shut properly.
We went to church this morning, went shopping afterwards, and then came home for a long nap.
