President George Bush held a press conference this morning and I managed to watch a few minutes of it. He can’t seem to answer a question in a direct fashion, relying on spin and switching to provide some semblance of a response.
One reporter asked how he would reply to some peoples view that the war in Iraq has actually destabilized the region and created more terrorists. He responded by saying that what the reporter was really asking was should Saddam have been left in power. When the reporter tried to refute him, he brushed him aside and said, “Let me finish. I’m on a roll.”
I don’t understand how someone with his speaking ability was elected not once, but twice.
