Walking - I felt completely fatigued when I got home from work today, but instead of languishing on the sofa, I decided to get some exercise. We walked a couple of miles and I found it very relaxing and energizing.

Greenspan - The former Federal Reserve Chairman confirmed that the Iraq war is about oil, that Bush is impossible to deal with, and that the Democrats deserved to win last November. Powerful words coming from a staunch Republican.

Gutters - I purchased and installed those solid gutter covers that are supposed to keep leaves out while letting the rain in. I have a nagging feeling that they were probably a complete waste of money.

Macy Gray - She’s growing like a weed and has gained a pound over the last three weeks! She amuses us constantly with her antics and simply couldn’t be cuter.

Hillary’s Insurance Plan - Mrs. Clinton unveiled her proposal for providing healthcare for all Americans today. Well, it’s really a plan that provides health insurance to all Americans. And it won’t even be a choice… it will be mandated. She claims that her plan will provide affordable coverage to the millions of Americans who have no insurance, but it really sounds like another potential windfall for insurance companies at the expense of those least able to afford it. I refuse to support any plan that doesn’t cut corporate greed out of the picture.
