After several days of shopping around for a new theme, I’ve finally settled on a slightly modified version of “Shades of Gray“. I’m using it with a CSS upgrade and the latest version of Sandbox.
Some of my favorite features of this theme so far:
- It pretty much fills the entire screen, so there’s no wasted real estate
- My comments are highlighted
- The large header image
- Ability to place widgets at the bottom of the page
- It’s super-easy to customize the colors for different times of the year
- Those cute little icons
I’ll be making subtle changes over the next few days. Let me know what you think and please notify me of any bugs!

Oooh, I like!!! I am still futzing w/ my nursing blog…I like the idea of having no wasted space. I wish I Was as good at this stuff as you evidently are!

@ MBMQ: I’ve made several “subtle changes” over the last few days. I had to give it a holiday makeover. It’s all done with CSS, which I find incredibly fun, but Alan says I’m obsessing.
