Probability Of A White Christmas Map

There’s nothing like waking up on Christmas morning and seeing a fresh blanket of snow covering everything outside, but according to NOAA, the probability of that happening where I live is only 5-10 percent.

Check out your chances on the map below and post them in the comment section.

I’m dreaming of an asphalt-covered Christmas,
We won’t be getting any snow.
May your days be merry and gay,
Your map shows our Christmas will be gray.

Less than a 5% chance of a white Christmas for us. Can anyone say “global warming”? Another record high for us yesterday–78 degrees. I wish we could send some of the warmth to the folks in the mid-west who are still frozen and many without electricy.

    Somewhere between 11 and 40 %….I can’t really tell.

But if we stay like we are (6-8 inches already on the ground) then I guess we’re good to go.

I just like to brag. :)

@ MBMQ: Love your little ditty. I don’t think you’ll have to worry about my Christmas being “gay”.

@ jimthomp87: It was 70 degrees here a couple of days ago. It’s crazy!

@ Caroline: I would so throw a snowball at you if I was there.

@ Stephanie: Those odds aren’t too bad. You might get lucky!
