I thought Wright's sermon, applying the ancient text of Psalm 137 to our immediate post-9/11 experience as a nation, was brilliant. We call it "collateral damage" to make the violence more justifiable to our collective conscience. But violence only breeds more violence, it never solves the problem. The modern-day prophets still speak truth to power, and often with same consequences and reaction as their spiritual forefathers. JimT I liked the Bill Moyers interview very much.
