		<description>I liked the Bill Moyers interview very much.  I thought Wright's sermon, applying the ancient text of Psalm 137 to our immediate post-9/11 experience as a nation, was brilliant.

The crux of Wright's September 16, 2001 sermon was that a nation's desire for revenge eventually sweeps away innocent victims (children, women, civilians) in its wake.  We call it "collateral damage" to make the violence more justifiable to our collective conscience.  But violence only breeds more violence, it never solves the problem.

The modern-day prophets still speak truth to power, and often with same consequences and reaction as their spiritual forefathers.
